FOTEP DJ Services What Doesn't FOTEP Offer?

FOTEP is a DJ service that specializes bringing quality entertainment to the Utah and Salt Lake valleys by offering mid-priced, modern, classic rock and retro music to small-to-medium sized functions. Because of this, there are a few things that FOTEP does not offer: Club, trance, "urban," hip-hop or rap music events -- FOTEP plays modern, classic rock and retro music to please the most common tastes of audiences. This means that FOTEP does not play urban, electronic club specialized music. FOTEP doesn't play in club environments, at raves or other niche events. Cover charge events like raves -- FOTEP prefers to work with a venue and an event organizer on performances with a purpose. Dances that are solely commercial in nature are not in keeping with the charter of FOTEP. This is not to say that FOTEP will only do free events, quite the contrary, FOTEP encourages schools and non-profit organizations to meet their expenses for the event as well as raise some money for their own programs. iPod cut-rate affairs -- FOTEP always wants to do a professional job and this requires both sound and lighting equipment to set up a proper dance environment. (Lights aren't required for meetings and conferences, of course.) Some DJs try to cut costs by cutting corners and cutting quality. FOTEP doesn't want your event to be a flop. So FOTEP offers only the quality you need to have the entertainment portion of your event be the success you want.
